The
Arbor Consort
The Arbor Consort
brings alive the
madrigal music of
the European
Renaissance
(1500– 1650) in a
cappella singing
and colorful
costumes of the
period. Their
tuneful tales span
the human
condition, speaking
of love lost and
love won,
celebration and
lament, humor, the
natural world and
social satire.
Historical
anecdotes spice the
presentation.
Resident musicians
at the Michigan
Renaissance
Festival, The Arbor
Consort also
performs at arts
events, historical
programs, schools
and social
gatherings.
