The Arbor Consort

The Arbor Consort brings alive the madrigal music of the European Renaissance (1500– 1650) in a cappella singing and colorful costumes of the period. Their tuneful tales span the human condition, speaking of love lost and love won, celebration and lament, humor, the natural world and social satire. Historical anecdotes spice the presentation. Resident musicians at the Michigan Renaissance Festival, The Arbor Consort also performs at arts events, historical programs, schools and social gatherings.

The Boychoir of Ann Arbor

Founded in 1986, The Boychoir of Ann Arbor has become one of southeast Michigan’s most active musical ensembles. The Boychoir seeks to offer choral education and performance experience to musically talented boys with unchanged voices, and to provide a choral resource for community and regional performances. The choir has appeared with the Grand Rapids, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Ann Arbor symphony orchestras. The choristers perform alone or with a group of professional men singers.
